My name is Steve Roy and I struggled for over a decade with no energy, lack of motivation, and trying to balance work, family, and my personal health.

I wanted to be a good role model for my two young daughters but had nothing left at the end of the day for myself. I was burned out, wiped out, and was just happy to make it through another day. And it was because I put myself dead last in my priorities.

There was so much more I wanted out of life; to feel great, to be strong and lean, to have tons of energy to play with my girls, to be more self-confident, and to be a better husband and father.

But you and I were taught to put everyone and everything in front of our own needs and we suffer because of it. We weren't taught the single most important lesson we can learn and it's this: to be the best father, husband, and man we're capable of becoming, we must put our health and wellness at the top of our priority list.

When we do, every aspect of our lives improves.

After so many years of struggle and trying to do it all alone, I turned to community for help. It was the missing piece that helped me turn my health, and ultimately, my life, around.

It was then that I started the Fit Dad Nation in an effort to help other dads who were struggling just like me. It was place for like-minded dads to share their wins and struggles, to hold each other accountable, and to motivate and inspire each other.

That community is five years in the making is what the Fit Dad Nation Circle is all about.

So many of us feel selfish and guilty for taking time for ourselves, but I can tell you from firsthand experience, that the opposite is true.

You cannot be the best father and husband you can be if you aren’t taking care of yourself first.

Joining the Inner Circle has been one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. Since joining four months ago I have gained a shit ton of confidence through the various challenges. I have become cognizant of what I'm putting in my mouth, and through the various workouts, challenges, and eating right most of the time, I can honestly say that at 41, I am in better shape than I was throughout my 20's and 30's (my wife was shocked to watch me doing some pull-ups last week lol).

I was always a “lone wolf” when it came to my fitness. I would read about the latest trends, develop a plan, and work out by myself. I always failed. I would always find a way to lie to myself, to cheat, and to under achieve. Since joining the community, I have found success after success fitness-wise. After joining the IC, I can definitely recommend it to guys getting started and especially for guys who have struggled for a while. The Inner Circle is producing results for those taking full advantage of it. If you've been struggling with consistency, the verdict is pretty much you can't do it solo. Repeatedly failing is a pretty good indication that you may have some bullshit going on in your head and a little self honesty is warranted. If you keep doing what you've been doing, you'll get more of what you got. The Inner Circle is a private place for deeper discussions, no BS information, and it's back to the basics and primal. I enjoy free basic online groups, but when I wanted to get serious, I joined the private group. If you need help with consistency and drive then join the Inner Circle and get focused on your fitness.
